Our cattery is located within 15 km from Moscow, Russia.

Our family consists of 5 people: the head of our family — my husband Nicolay, our three daughters Liza, Sofia and Zoui, and me — Olga. Besides our remarkable Maine coons, there also live other animals with us: two watch dogs, Central Asian sheep-dog breed, our eight-year-old cat Leelou, which resembles a British cat, two naked rats Shrek and Fiona, and a brood of quails which present fresh eggs to Maine coons’ breakfast every morning. I do mention «Maine coons’ breakfast» because all the members of our family got sick and tired of these dietary eggs already, but that does not hold true for our Maine coons yet.

All our animals (with the exception of our rats and quails, of course) move freely around the house and fenced territory of the garden, and everyone has their «own» possession zone. Taking into consideration the fact that Maine coon breed is the American native breed — they are very large muscular animals. It is essential to have considerable living space for their well-being and physical development. Therefore, our Maine coons have their separate summer residence with an exit to the garden, in addition to territory of our house.

OUR PHILOSOPHY

Each breeder, while making a decision to be engaged in cats breeding, sets definite purposes and tasks for himself: one may stick to the already existing stereotypes or try to make their own contribution to the further development of breed by means of a laborious selection activity, which means to make «their own» Maine coons recognized. Some European catteries with which we cooperate, or attempt to establish cooperation, follow this way. The animals from these catteries have their individual recognizable type. By fulfilling the tasks we set for ourselves, we obtain our cats in the catteries of Germany, the Czech Republic, Poland and the Netherlands.

Nowadays, there are two directions of Maine coons` development — American and European. We are admirers of the European type.

In our breeding activities we aspire to our ideal Maine coon: our pet will have a powerful long body on high strong paws, with XXXL the long well-bushy tail, clear cut «box» with a square chin, big ears with long brushes. The animal is rather large: male cats weigh 8–10 kg, female cats — 5–7 kg. The general view should create an impression of a «wild» animal, but with a very gentle and kind character and, it goes without saying that it must possess good health.
